The Magic School Bus Rides Again: Season One (spelled Season 1 on Amazon Prime and Vudu) is a collection of every episode of the fifth season. It is the third NCircle home media release for The Magic School Bus Rides Again, and the fourth overall. The physical version was released on July 6, 2021 on DVD in Region 1.

This set and the 2022 Season Two set are used for Rides Again’s first production season on Vudu and Amazon Prime Video. Other digital outlets use the 2019 set for the first two seasons.

The set includes all thirteen episodes of the first season of The Magic School Bus Rides Again across two discs. In a similar vein to the previous series’ season sets, disc one includes the first six episodes, while disc 2 includes the remaining seven.

• Instead of reading “Scholastic”, the Bus’s overhead sign reads “OVER 5 HOURS!”.
  • The Bus’s headlights return on the R1 DVD covers.
• The cover art is based on DA and the Deep Blue Sea.
• This is the first RA region 1 DVD cover art whose reverse cover is not a screenshot of an episode. Instead, it features the Bus.
• Like The Complete Series, these discs were released during an anniversary of The Magic School Bus at the Waterworks.
• These discs were copyrighted in 2021, the year it came out in stores. This is unlike the previous two Rides Again Region 1 DVDs, which were copyrighted in 2017 (the year the series released).
• Like All About Earth, the discs do not have the option to watch the Spanish dub, but they still have closed-captions.
• On the Region 3 release, episodes are sorted in production order and The Land Before Tim is added on the final disc to even things out.
