The Magic School Bus Catches a Wave is an anthology of three episodes from The Magic School Bus series about water. It released on DVD in 2005 in the US and Canada alongside Human Body, and again in 2012 in the same areas, this time as disc 2 of The Magic School Bus Video Collection: Blast Off! From Sea to Space. It contains two episodes from season 2 and one from season 3, with one episode from season 1 in the Region 2 release and a bonus episode from season 3 on the second Region 1 release.

Alongside 2005's Human Body, it is the last DVD in the Warner roster of Magic School Bus releases.

The 2005 Region 1 version and its sibling mark the final official appearance of The Magic School Bus funding credits.
