The Lungs are an optional level in Arnold's body in Explores the Human Body.
Bus activities[]
Front of the Bus[]
- The bus enters the lungs by travelling down from the nose. Once inside, the player can interact with the red, white, and blue blood cells floating around the alveoli. The white blood cells and platelets will turn into police cars when clicked. The red and blue blood cells will turn into an inflatable pool tube being ridden by an oxygen creature. Particles of carbon dioxide and oxygen also float around.
- In the mini-game, the player can adjust the oxygen and carbon dioxide levels in Arnold's lungs to see how it affects his breathing.
Back of the Bus[]
- The player can read various reports by other students, and also play on Tim's SPLAT! Backpack.
- In Ralphie's handheld game, a mini-game called Air Combat is playable. A Space Invaders style game, the player must defend the lungs from various viruses by launching projectiles at them.
- Dorothy Ann, Tim, and Keesha can leave the bus and explore the lungs, floating around in-between them. Dorothy Ann notes how easy it would be to get lost in the lung's sacs. Keesha states that the lungs are nice to visit, but wouldn't want to live there. Tim notices that the walls of the lungs are squishy. At the bottom of the screen, the player can observe the inside of a sac, and can see blue blood cells turn red.
