The Heart is an optional location in Explores the Human Body.
Bus activities[]
Front of the Bus[]
- The bus enters the heart through a valve that is transmitting blood, entering the right ventricle. The player can observe valves on either side of the heart opening and closing. There are blue blood cells floating around that will turn into an inflatable pool tube being ridden by an oxygen creature when clicked. The white blood cells and platelets will turn into police cars an ambulances, respectively, when clicked.
- In the mini-game, the player can make Arnold run at various speeds while observing how much blood his heart is pumping into his body.
Back of the Bus[]
- The player can read various reports by other students, and also play on Tim's SPLAT! Backpack.
- In Ralphie's handheld game, a mini-game called Ticker Ball is accessible. It's a pinball game shaped like a heart where the player aims to send balls into the lungs and body.
- Wanda, Carlos, and Ralphie can leave the bus and explore the heart. They surf on red blood cells while watching the valve transmit blood between itself. When clicked, the three shift their position in the heart. Carlos will occasionally warn the other two not to get too close to the valves. Wanda will warn Ralphie specifically to not get sucked into the valve, and Ralphie will say he's having a problem with the strong current. Ralphie will also note that this activity reminds him of a super slide.

- Professor Frizzle:
- Says the heart works all-day to pump blood.
- Says the heart, veins and arties work together as a team. Ralphie says this is the circulatory system.
- Says "Wahoo!" and raises her arms.
- Phoebe:
- Tries to counts the blood ceils but loses track of them.
- States she thinks the class is in the right ventricle.
- Makes a joke about the left and right ventricle, Ms. Frizzle thinks they'd say "there's a wall between us."
- Carlos:
- Makes a joke about the artery cheering up the vein, Keesha says it was a little blue.

- Makes a joke about a vampire being embarrassed over drawing too much from a blood bank.
- Wanda:
- Gives a report about the chambers of the heart.
- Notes the heart is a powerful muscle. Ms. Frizzle says it can't be beat.
- Jokes about why the artery went to college, Ms. Frizzle says it wanted to be "well-red."
- Dorothy Ann:
- Says the heart carries blood to every part of the body.
- Asks if this will be a long trip, Ms. Frizzle says it won't be if they had a hearty breakfast.
- Hopes there isn't a test over the heart.
- Keesha:
- Gives a report about the heart pumping blood.
- Says there is a lot of blood in the heart. Phoebe says she's not angry but still seeing red.
- Says arteries are red and veins are blue.
- Notes that Arnold's heart is beating fast, guessing he may be scared. Phoebe says she'd be scared too if she swallowed a school bus.
- Tim:
- Presents a drawing of a man pumping blood to a heart with an air pump.
- Wonders where the class is, Wanda says they're on the "organ trail."
- Presents a drawing of a heart gremlin with big fangs.
- Says it's cozy in the heart, Wanda says it's perfect for a "heart to heart."
- Notes that your heart is the size of a fist.
- Ralphie:
- Says he thinks he heard a heart organ. Tim notes Arnold's heart made a squeeze play.
- Jokes about why a cat joined the red cross.
- Says the heart is like a big squeeze bottle. Tim says he's getting "squeezey."
