Taking Flight is a Magic School Bus TV tie-in book that's based on the episode of the same name.

Plot

How do things fly? That's what Ms. Frizzle and her class find out when they are shrunk inside a model airplane. Learn how a plane gets up in the air, stays up, and is steered. This is one uplifting field trip!

Differences from the episode

• The part where Ms. Frizzle is hang-gliding is cut.
• The producer segment is narrated by Tim instead of the male producer.
