Ms. Frizzle’s outfit[]
In this episode, Ms. Frizzle does not wear her default outfit; instead she is clad in a bulky space suit in her signature color, royal blue. This suit is orange in the brief flashback to this episode in "In the Zone".
Descriptions[]
- Netflix: An out-of-this world class trip takes the students up into space, where a selfie-obsessed Keesha accidentally sparks disaster.
- iTunes/YouTube/Amazon Prime: Space Camp is the first launching pad towards becoming an astronaut, and Keesha is determined to get in thanks to the best application form ever – including a selfie from actual space! But in her eagerness to get the perfect shot, she accidentally disrupts several Earth-orbiting satellites, and jeopardizes not only her future, but the planet's!

Trivia[]
- The episode starts in a similar vein to Plays Ball, Out of This World, and the Holiday Special. All four start in the fantasy or dream of a certain student, only for them to be awoken in the climax of the dream.
- Stuart Stone, the voice of Ralphie in The Magic School Bus, announced Cosmic Corner in Keesha's fantasy at the beginning of the episode.
- A piece of concept art for The Magic School Bus 360° is based on this episode.
- This episode fully reveals that Keesha's surname is Franklin, implying her grandmother to be biological. In "Going Batty," her grandmother of unknown relation was given the surname.
- The fact that Ms Frizzle's cousin, Björn Frizzlesen, is Swedish is a play on both the Swedish furniture store chain IKEA (as the satellites he makes require some assembly) and actor Björn Andresen.
- Kathy K. Kuiper is voiced by and based on American astronaut/engineer Mae C. Jemison.
- The second (former) astronaut to guest star in The Magic School Bus Rides Again will be the Canadian Chris Hadfield, playing himself, in "Kids in Space".
