The Reliable Teacher Who Only Wants to Observe and Learn from a Safe Distance, shortened to the Reliable Teacher[1] on the Brown Bag site and oddly named Ms. Frizzle in the credits for "The Frizz Connection," is the third of the the three Frizzle Fragments, acting as the personification of Ms. Frizzle's serious, ethical, reasonable, and safety-oriented side. Her third of the unit is Ms. Frizzle’s head. Alongside her fellow Frizzle Fragments, she is one of the hosts in the episode’s producer segment.
Contrary to the unit and her sister, the Reliable Teacher is against the philosophies of “Take chances, make mistakes, and get messy” and “Let’s be what we see,” going for « Salutem primum » (a Latin motto that translates to “safety first”) instead.

- According to the series' design team at Brown Bag, the Reliable Teacher was originally going to wear a pencil skirt, but this design was scrapped in favor of thin pants for the "serious look," and to animate her more fluidly than her fellow Fragments[2].
