The Parasaurolophi were duck-billed dinosaurs that lived in the Cretaceous period. They make their first appearance in the first episode adaptation of The Magic School Bus In the Time of the Dinosaurs, Season 2’s “The Busasaurus,” where their shrilling cries are voiced by series sound designer Marsha Moore.
In the game The Magic School Bus Explores in the Age of Dinosaurs, the game adaptation of the book and episode, these dinosaurs’ species appear in footage courtesy of publishing group DK. They also appear in the minigame, Dino Shuffle.
They are absent from both the book and its second episode adaptation, the Season 6 premiere “The Land Before Tim,” both of which focus on different time periods during, before, and after the Mesozoic era.

“The Busasaurus”[]
When Ms. Frizzle, Liz and her class were searching for Arnold and Phoebe, they hear a strange noise. Carlos presumes to sound to be a "hungry dinosaur ordering an Arnold burger", and Keesha adds, "and Phoebe fries to go". Dorothy Ann then finds the group of Parasaurolophus, drinking water and eating plants. Carlos however accuses them for eating Arnold and Phoebe, and think they're drinking the water to wash off what they've eaten. Wanda tries to convince Carlos to think they're just thirsty, but Carlos states them to be blood thirsty for Arnold.
As they keep watching the group of Parasaurolophus, Dorothy Ann reads her research telling everyone that their horns are used to help them make noises (voiced by Marsha Moore), but Carlos thinks they use them to stop their innocent victims. They then realize their communicating with each other, this causes Carlos think they said, "Mmm, mmm... That kid with the glasses was good.", but Ralphie think they're talking about them. They then realize they're not acting like they're blood thirsty killers, they're just enjoying the plants and drinking the water.
After Ralphie spots Arnold and Phoebe through the binoculars, they decide to get the Parasaurolophus to move out of the way so they can save Arnold and Phoebe. So Ms. Frizzle turns the bus into a Parasaurolophus and they jump into the bus. Ms. Frizzle blows a horn making the Parasaurolophus noise (still voiced by Marsha Moore) making the group of Parasaurolophus move out of the way. Ms. Frizzle sings a variant of Over the River and Through the Woods to Grandmother's House We Go. Then one of the Parasaurolophus jumps onto a log and flips the bus into the air and sends it flying into the air and Ms. Frizzle, Liz and the kids fall out and land in a dinosaur nest below.

While not the same Parasaurolophi as in the episode appear in this 1996 Windows/macOS title, their species appear in footage courtesy of DK as well as in the minigame Dino Shuffle.
