Nelvana Enterprises, Inc. (formerly known as "Nelvana Limited" or sometimes called "Nelvana Animation") is an Canadian animation/entertainment company based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Owned by Corus Entertainment (since 2000) that was founded by the future Cookie Jar (now WildBrain) producer Michael Hirsh along with Clive A. Smith and Patrick Loubert in July 30, 1971 (51 years ago). It was the original production studio of the adaptation of the book series The Magic School Bus (1994-1997) until Rides Again (which was instead produced by 9Story in the same country from 2017 until 2018 and the European-based Brown Bag Animation since 2020). Starting in 2001, its library comprises more than 1,650 cumulative half-hours of original television programming.
The company has three international offices such as France, Ireland, and Japan.
