Meet the Class is the companion book to the TV series, introducing new fans (and old) to the students of Ms. Frizzle’s class. It released in 2017, coinciding with The Magic School Bus Rides Again.

The readers are introduced to the main eight students, including Jyoti (this book marks her first appearance). The book also includes biographies for the Frizzle sisters, and Liz.
