Matthew Mintz (born March 1, 2004, age 21 years) is the second voice of Ralphie on The Magic School Bus franchise. He voiced him for most of the Rides Again era, taking over from Stuart Stone in its first and second seasons. He voiced Ralphie in a similar manner to how Stone voiced him in the second season of the 1994 series and The Magic School Bus Explores the Ocean.
He was replaced by Matthew Mucci starting in the final season’s premiere, “Kids in Space.”

- He replaced Stuart Stone (Ralphie's original voice actor).
- He was later replaced by Matthew Mucci due to his voice changing because of puberty.
- Mintz is the second oldest cast member of RA, following Leke Maceda-Rustecki.
- Unlike Stuart Stone, Mintz’ role as Ralphie was not kept for very long—he was recast as soon as signs of deepening appeared in his voice instead of still keeping the role even as a teenager. Mintz’ voice is noticeably lower in a few lines in Season 6’s “I Spy with My Animal Eyes.”
