Lisa Jai (born June 16, 1983 in Ontario, Canada, age 42), credited as Lisa Yamanaka in The Magic School Bus, is a Japanese-Canadian voice actress who is known for the voice of Wanda from 1994[1] to 2011[2], as well as that of her younger brother, William, in "Under Construction." She replaced Rosalind Chao as the voice of Wanda and William’s mother Mrs. Li in The Magic School Bus Rides Again, the series in which the role of Wanda was given to her successor, Lynsey Pham.

- Ironically, her personality is nothing like Wanda's, a fact she admits in the second half of the Holiday Special.
- Her name and Lynsey's both start with L.
- She has the same birthday as Olivia Hack, who voiced Rhonda Lloyd on the Nickelodeon series, Hey Arnold.
- She is one of the five original cast members who have later been in a Nickelodeon show (Rupert). The other four are Maia Filar, Daniel DeSanto, Erica Lutrell and Danny Tamberelli.
- She is also one of the cast members who appeared in Babar. The other two are Amos Crawley (who voiced Alexander in the first two seasons and Babar: The Movie) and Stuart Stone (who voiced young Arthur in the first two seasons and Babar: The Movie and later replaced Amos as the voice of Alexander in seasons 3-5).
- She suffers from rheumatoid arthritis.
- She was based in Los Angeles from 2008 to 2011; she still performs there from time to time, and has also performed in New York and Swaziland.
