Lisa Jai (born June 16, 1983 in Ontario, Canada, age 40), credited as Lisa Yamanaka in The Magic School Bus, voiced Wanda from 1994[1] to 2011[2], as well as her younger brother, William, in "Under Construction." She replaced Rosalind Chao as the voice of Wanda and William’s mother in The Magic School Bus Rides Again, the series in which the role of Wanda was given to her successor, Lynsey Pham.

- Ironically, her personality is nothing like Wanda's, a fact she admits in the second half of the Holiday Special.
- Her and her successor, Lynsey Pham's, names both start with the Latin letter L.
- They also both start with the Japanese syllable Ri (リ).
- She has the same birthday as Olivia Hack, who voiced Rhonda Lloyd on the Nickelodeon series, Hey Arnold.
- She is one of the five original cast members who have later been in a Nickelodeon show (Rupert). The other four are Maia Filar, Daniel DeSanto, Erica Lutrell and Danny Tamberelli.
