Plot[]
It's beach day, and the whole class is excited. Everyone except Arnold and Keesha, that is. They forgot their report on two beach things that go together. All Arnold and Keesha have is a tuna fish sandwich and some smelly green pond scum. What could those two things possibly have in common? "The best way to learn about something is to jump right in," Ms. Frizzle announces. A second later, the Magic School Bus dives right into the ocean! Come on an underwater adventure and learn about food chains.
Differences from the episode[]
- Ms. Frizzle calls on Arnold & Keesha first (instead of Ralphie and Phoebe)
- The Bus beeps to let the class know about the field trip (instead of a Liz-shaped clock ringing)
- Keesha says "saved by the beep!" instead of "saved by the bell!)
- The part of the show where the kids get out onto the beach is skipped. Also the part where the bus transforms into a glass-bottom boat is skipped, instead the bus stays as a dolphin sub. When they shrink, the bus turns into a normal submarine.
- Phoebe says "at my old school we weren't allowed to be tuna chow."
- Arnold's shoe isn't missing when the classes gets back to the classroom.
