The Frizzle Fragments are thirds of Ms. Frizzle who came to be from a Magic Rupture after the Bus got hit by lightning in the episode, The Frizz Connection. They are The Frizz, Fiona, and the Reliable Teacher. They are the Producer Segment Hosts and the deuteragonists of The Frizz Connection. Ms. Frizzle has gained the ability to separate into them at will since the producer segment. According to Fiona, this wasn’t Ms. Frizzle’s first split, as she has split into the Fragments at least once before the episode.
The Frizz[]
The Frizz is the "wacky, goofy, silly side" of Ms. Frizzle. She enjoys cracking jokes, playing her ukulele, and using her pineapple phone. She drives the part of the Magic School Bus with a banana-shaped balloon.
Fiona Frizzle[]
Fiona is a daredevil, always willing to jump into adventure and hang around from her rope and dangle outside her third of the Magic School Bus. She teaches lessons by experiencing them and immersing herself in them firsthand. Her third of the Bus sports a balloon in the form of a compass.
Reliable Teacher[]
Ms. Frizzle, who calls herself "The Reliable Teacher", is quite arrogant and bossy. She prefers sitting over standing, and her motto is "safety first!" (the complete opposite of Valerie Frizzle's motto, "Take chances, make mistakes and get messy!"). She likes flying her Bus close to the ground. She drives the Bus with an apple balloon.
Trivia[]
- Somehow, after the effects of the main episode, during the producer segment, the full Ms. Frizzle developed an ability to split into her three parts at will and then fuse back together à la Steven Universe via hi-fiving. Once she is separated and then reunited, she can remember what all three parts did when they were separated.
- The Fragment phenomenon could parody the Prism from Teen Titans and Teen Titans GO!.
- The other students, like Ralphie, also have fragments (Ralphie mentioned the possibility of undergoing a Magic Rupture in one scene in the episode).
