Trivia[]

General[]

  • This was one of the first three-episode Magic School Bus compilations.
  • The cover art for all four versions is based on "Going Batty."
    • On both Region 1 DVDs, Ms. Frizzle is aware of the field trip and is seen driving instead of Ralphie.
    • Ralphie is in his Dracula mask and the Bus does not appear on the Region 4 VHS/DVD. The menu art however does feature stock art of the Batbus and a PNG cutout of Count Frizzula from the episode.
    • The Bus is not transformed into the Batbus and Ms. Frizzle is not in her Count Frizzula outfit on the VHS release. However, the cover art does take place in front of the bat-infested castle.
    • On the Warner DVD, Carlos erroneously has a green sweater and the Bus’s grille is yellow instead of silver.
  • The Bus's overhead sign has a bat on the VHS version, reads "BOO!" on the Warner DVD, and "Skreee!" on both the Cinedigm DVD and the Fox DVD menu.

Errors[]

  • On the Warner version, "In the Haunted House" has two typos. On both back covers, it's "Inside the Haunted House" (like the VHS release of this episode), and on the episode menu, it's "In a Haunted House."
    • On the menu for the Fox DVD, “In the Haunted House” also uses its Warner VHS title.
  • When transferring the VHS of "In the Haunted House" to the Warner DVD, during the opening theme, Arnold's voice cuts off for a split second during his line and the pitch gets slightly lower on the "down" of "Cruising on down Main Street."
