The Magic School Bus: Space Adventures is one of the "classic seven" DVDs released by Warner Home Media in 2003. It was rereleased by Cinedigm in 2012 as disc 1 of its three-disc set, The Magic School Bus Blasts Off from Sea to Space. This release replaced "Taking Flight" with "Gains Weight" and added "Plays Ball" as its bonus. However, the rerelease can be purchased standalone, outside of Blast Off from Sea to Space. This episode compilation was released on digital, keeping the same episodes from the 2013 release, except "Plays Ball" is replaced with "Goes on Air".
