Carlos is one of the many people the class has traveled inside. They go inside him in "Carlos Gets the Sneezes" and its tie-in book. It also appears in the Rides Again theme song and the Rides Again Season 3 ending credits.
Carlos' Nose[]
Carlos' nose is one of the entrances to his body. The Magic School Bus entered his left nostril, where it landed on a nasal cilium (nose hair). It appears in the theme song and is mentioned in The Magic School Bus Rides Again: Meet the Class.
Carlos' Throat[]
After Carlos almost sneezes the Magic School Bus out of his nose, Ms. Frizzle uses a grappling hook to latch it onto a nose hair and fling it farther down, reaching the nasopharynx. Eventually, they end up sinking into the lymphoid tissue that is his nasal tonsil, and wind up in a blood vessel.
Carlos' Bloodstream[]
Carlos' bloodstream is where his immune system is located. It is where Ralphie accidentally transforms the bus into a cell and the second time (Ralphie and Jyoti's first time) where it is attacked by the immune system.
Carlos' Lamina Propria[]
Carlos' lamina propria, or nasal mucous membrane, is wired with blood vessels and mucus glands. It is where Keesha captures an allergen particle.
