Archibald Seedplot (voiced by Robby Benson) is Phoebe's teacher. His only major role is in "Goes to Seed", where he picks her plant to bring to her. Phoebe spends much of the episode fearing what Mr. Seedplot might think of her then-current teacher, but her fears prove unwarranted when Mr. Seedplot and Professor Frizzle turn out to know each other and the former is actually a large fan of the Friz.

- Professor Frizzle has a framed picture of him in her house, possibly suggesting that they're closer than friends.
- He appears in a cameo in In the City with his daughter.
- His voice actor Robby Benson is well-known for voicing the Beast in the 1991 Disney animated film Beauty and the Beast. Coincidentally, he also wears similar kinds of blue and white clothing as the Beast.
- Though he is most likely Canadian given what we know of Phoebe's school, his voice actor is American.
