Well, it's not exactly Feb 10th yet, but as usual, on Fandom time, yes, and I have school, so I'm making this now so I can be on time. And I almost forgot about this, so here we go....
10 years ago on Feb 10, 2016, it was announced that 9 Story joined the production of Rides Again, which was still 360 at the time; the name change didn't come until fall 2016, where the series was pushed back from it's 2016 release date into the next year. Vince Commisso was a producer on the og series that he produced all those years ago, and it was his first that he produced, so he stated in a press release that he's deeply connected to the brand and respected it's vision, and was excited to remake the series for 2009-2012 babies (Rides Again is aimed at kids 8-5 according to TV guides, and at the time of RA's release, they were the intended age group, nowadays it's 2018-2021 kids). Looking back at this information, it's clear why 360 never met it's goal, because it seems that Scholastic couldn't find anyone to do CGI work on the series, or there were changes going on with Scholastic Ent's leadership at the time (Scholastic Ent got overhauled in 2017 but the overhaul could had also happened during 2016 itself), thus 360 is the only project to be cancelled in the franchise, and hopefully, lets hope the live action movie doesn't get shelved like 360 was.
Had 360 released, it would had been a decade old this year. Some of the ideas for 360 were carried over to Rides Again, and 6 years later, eventually Rides Again would meet it's CGI goal, but only for The Bus. Mighty Explorers does not count, as while it will be the first time the franchise will fully be in CGI, it's an entire new show rather than a continuation of Rides Again.
This is a fake episode title my mum thought up when I was a kid. She was pretending to be Arnold talking about the scary journeys he'd been taken on, and because I was scared of gumboots back then, she said "Have you seen The Magic School Bus Goes Into a Gumboot?"
Sad news, Catherine O'Hara dies at 71 today. She was the comedy icon, known for roles in films like Beetlejuice and Home Alone. She was a voice of Aunt Tennelli and Teresina Tennelli in the episode, "Ralphie and the Flying Tennellis." Also, She voiced characters in the animated films Frankenweenie, The Addams Family and Elemental.
Ralphie: Good bye, Aunt Tennelli and Teresina Tennelli. I'll miss you two.
On the wiki, there’s been somewhat of a pattern on where to omit or keep the Bus’s name in page titles. The original Joanna Cole books and the Explores games have the Bus’ name, but original series episodes (minus “The Busasaurus,” “Family Holiday Special,” and “Butterfly and the Bog Beast,”) RA episodes that have titles in this format like “In the Swim,” “Hides and Seeks,” “Making Magic,” and “In the Zone,” early-reader books, the Science Chapter Book novel series, and DVD/VHS compilations do not. For the latter before I reach a consensus, I’ve applied A {{DISPLAYTITLE:}} with the series name mostly in episodes.

We all know that 9 years ago people would go bonkers whenever Rides Again was on the internet, and this remained for quite a few years. However, in recent years especially after 2024 with the ME announcement, people have been looking back at RA in a more positive light even if they aren't fond of the series, and it even feels like Rides Again is having a resurgence. I'm not sure if it's just me but I'm seeing way more Rides Again fan content being produced these days and fans openly stating their love and nostalgia for the show, which wasn't something we could do back then when the haters were louder. There have also been some people speaking up and defending the show and actually giving the show a chance, which in turn helps the show getting redeemed in the future.
So what do you think? Is Rides Again more accepted now compared to how it was back then?
Magic School Bus is now 40 years old as of this year! Hooray! And the last MSB book will be turning 5 this year along with "Goldstealer"!
Please give us the live-action movie, Mighty Explorers, remasters of all the books in the original series, maybe expanding the Rides Again book line and adapting episodes that weren't turned into books, release the Goldstealer DVD to the US and make actual Rides Again merch for it's fans! Prewtyy pleaseeeee
Also, please let Rides Again be in the Great Meme Reset! There are faces in that show that have meme potential!
I'm also entering the New Year with Rides Again Magic School Bus PFP!

The New Year and 40th year of The Magic School Bus is coming up, and this is the way I use In the Zone to start it. If you start the episode at 11:21:20 PM, Jyoti’s solar clock will sync with real time and the New Year will happen once the kids finish their countdown and The Bus fully updates.
I’ve done this since 2023 into 2024, and will be doing it again this New Year! Are any of you doing this too? I’d love to hear, or if you’re doing it/you’ve done it with another Magic School Bus moment, like the scene in Gets Lost in Space where Arnold sacrifices himself to prove a point to Janet on Pluto, when the Frizzle Fragments get back together in The Frizz Connection, any of the Bus’ escape routes in Inside Ralphie, or the For Lunch burp to name a few.
