The Magic School Bus: Mighty Explorers

Based on the iconic Scholastic book series, The Magic School Bus: Mighty Explorers is a ground-breaking CGI reboot for preschool viewers! Join Albie, our all-new, talking, transforming, Magic Bus, plus Liz, Ms. Frizzle’s favorite lizard sidekick, and six-year-old kid explorers – Lily, Wyatt, and Benny – as they team up and zoom out on some of the funniest, wildest action-adventure explorations yet! Together, our Mighty Explorers are going to answer questions like “How does sound work?” “Why is the sun so hot?” “How do fish breathe underwater?” and many, many more. According to a official LinkedIn post, this is a reboot but its still unclear if it's a new story rather than a continuation of Rides Again and the 90s series. This series might take place in a different timeline/AU/community then RA and the 90s series and that said community is still cannon.

If I have to be very honest here this is.....Not what I was expecting. What happened to the CGI Bus model from the specials? And Albie is based off The Bus from the 90s series? I mean their design isn't bad but with the changes idk if I (or the majority of this Fandom to be exact) is going to enjoy this series. Maybe it'll be good and we'll just have to wait for more details but idk It's just seems odd that we're getting a preschool version of TMSB when TMSB was mostly targeted at elementary school kids. They did also get some new kids in the show so I'm curious how they will be developed, but it also makes me wonder if the other students will appear in this show.

Like I said before this could turn out to be good and save the franchise. You'll never know, but it's still odd that this MSB is targeted towards preschooler's. Maybe it's a spin-off or an attempt to market to younger kids/make a younger version of TMSB. It's still a bit interesting considering that MSB never had a version for younger kids before, so we'll see how this goes.

Maybe after this show is finished/or if it's successful we'll get another CGI animated series that is actually focused on the timeline in RA and the 90s series and continue it. I hope Ms. Frizzle is in this show but she's not mentioned anywhere so I'm starting to doubt it.

@Starflicker2001 that would be nice, but I would rather reboots/revivals be 2D like the original and first reboot, not cgi

IRYO. Albie does look a bit uncanny in the promo image but maybe that's just because of how they are posed/how the camera is angled.

And since this is conformed to be a reboot, I hope this takes place in a different timeline completely separate from RA and the 90s series because of how this whole show is formatted. It would be odd for The Bus/Albie to suddenly be driving preschool kids when for the first 2 shows they were driving elementary school kids. Plus the fact that we still don't know if Ms. Frizzle will be in this series.

I'm afraid of this new show, they did The Bus as horrible design and Ms. Frizzle sisters and nine students never appear on new show. And I don't want to see Liz will design on new Mighty Explorers. Because the new reboot show will destroy my childhood, so I will dislike MSB: Mighty Explorers. I want to bring Magic School Bus Rides Again back. Cause Magic School Bus Rides Again is better reboot than new Magic School Bus: Mighty Explorers.

The Frizzle Sisters may or may not appear in this show. We just don't know for certain yet because of the so little details Scholastic gave us.

Let's be real if the Frizzle Sisters don't appear in this show then there's no doubt the older MSB fans are going to pan this show so hard.
